I travel because it makes me feel whole. I feel more myself in a town that doesn’t speak my language than somewhere I’ve lived most of my life. There’s no better feeling than that sigh of relief after boarding the flight to your destination.

I first began traveling in 2014. I saved up all my money to study in Spain for a year. That trip changed my life. I discovered what it means to feel completely in control of my life for the first time. I began traveling alone and felt more free than I could’ve imagined. 

I think once you taste that feeling, it’s impossible to return to what you thought reality was. This is my new reality and I don’t plan on ever turning back.
