I like to think that traveling is in my DNA: that I was born with it.
My first trips were with my family, around Europe. As a kid I was always too skinny, didn’t eat a lot and would get sick often, but never during those trips. While traveling I turned into a different kid, just wanting to be healthy and enjoy every minute!
At 15 I started traveling on my own every summer, to study English in the UK and US. Those summers are still the best memories of my life. That sense of freedom never left me, made travelling a necessity to me and it’s what still pushes me to keep wandering the world today.
I just refuse the idea of belonging to only one place. Traveling makes me feel part of the world and when I tell others about the places I feel like those places belong also to me somehow.
Life is too short and traveling is my way of getting to live not just one life, but many more.
